Interior lighting
Good lighting changes a room more than almost any other electrical job. We design and install LED downlights on dimmable circuits, under-cabinet and plinth lighting for kitchens, IP-rated fittings and extractor fans for bathrooms and wet rooms, feature and media wall lighting, and staircase and hallway schemes. Where possible we reuse the existing wiring so disruption is minimal.
We help you choose colour temperature and beam angles so the light is warm and even rather than harsh, and arrange the switching the way you want it, including two-way and smart switching.
Exterior and security lighting
Outside, we fit garden lighting, driveway and path lights, PIR security lighting, floodlights and outdoor sockets, all on properly protected circuits with weatherproof fittings and connections. Timers, dusk-to-dawn sensors and smart controls can be added so lights only come on when you need them.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fit downlights in an existing ceiling?
Yes. In most homes downlights can be fitted into an existing ceiling with minimal disturbance. We use fire-rated fittings and check for insulation and joists before cutting.
Do bathroom lights need to be special?
Yes. Fittings in bathrooms must have the right IP rating for the zone they are in, and the circuit must be RCD protected. We fit only fittings that are suitable for the location.
Can you add lighting to my garden without digging up the lawn?
Often, yes. Low-voltage garden lighting and surface-clipped cable runs along fences and walls avoid trenching. Where mains cable has to go underground we bury it at the correct depth with protective conduit.
